3. Media data
With the registration as a DuelPlayer the user passes all rights of the sent media data (Screenshots, Replays, demoes, etc.). That means, BETPLAYER Ltd may publish Screenshots, Replays etc. without approval of the player / team or use them to the construction of videos or similar things.
Every player has to record a demo from every match, if the respective game supports a demo or replay function. These replays/demoes are to be kept in own interest for at least 14 days. These are to be presented to the administrators on demand or in case of a protest. Not sending these requested media may result in warnings.
If there is a protest, the demoes must be kept for 14 days after the conclusion of the protest.
Please, save these demoes not only on your hard disk, but also on suitable other media as for example CD-RW, DWD-RW or USB-sticks. Remember of stopping the recording before the changing the map, to avoid a faulty execution. Faulty demoes cannot value the administration. Frequent delivering of faulty demoes can result from a warning up to the committee from the BETPLAYER ltd. Internet portal.
It is advisable, to save game chat logs etc. Since if there is a protest, those can be also used as an evidence.
In general, there remains the user's duty to find out about the current updates of the set of rules. The current rules are available on the eDuel web page.
You may find the official channel in the specific game rules and in the case of doubt, you can fall back on the channel #eDuel.
Because the Internet connection is not always equally good for both parties, we can take no responsibility for unequal conditions. The DuelPlayer should agree on a server which creates approximately the same relations for both parties. Nevertheless, players must calculate on the fact that they must play with bigger Ping-to differences. Here the player / team can be appealed only to the fairness.

All communication programs like BattleCom, Roger Wilco, Microsoft GameVoice, TeamSpeak, Ventrilo or similar are permitted. script-and config changes in these programs are permitted in general, except they are forbade partially or completely in the rules specific for a game. If the respective game in which the duel should be played provides a dedicated Game server, the DuelPlayers must look for a server and agree to that on their own. The DuelPlayers can play the game also on a completely neutral server, if they agreed to that. Special attention must always be paid on the correct server and games settings (according to the special rules of the respective game). As soon as the match is launched, all participants accept with the set settings. If the settings are not correct and the opposition does not agree with it, the hoster must either restart or reset the game. Refuses the hoster repeated requests, the match has not to be played. A protest with a protest form can be announced and has to be covered with a screenshot. After a check the culprit can be punished with a warning and a negative evaluation.
Following dots must be still considered:
- the updates in the server’s settings during the running game are forbid most strictly.

A protest may be submitted only by protest form. Contacting the Admins seperately is not necessary. The notification about the protest occurs to the Game administrators automatically.
Also in a protest counts the usual models of behaviour and the netiquette. Should it come to verbal derailments, this can be avenged with penal dots.

General protests to the players / teams, who do not stand in direct connection with a duel must be submitted under general protests. Here must be described clearly, which kind it concerns in the submitted protest.
The support function should be used only on problems which appear beyond a match. On problems which concern a match directly, the protest function must be used.
With further inquiries of our administrators the users who have created a protest should reply always as fast as possible.
If one of the players enters a wrong result, he must count on a negative evaluation. eDuel.net reserves the right, to exclude players, who delay the payment of profits for no reason, from the eDuel portal and to withhold profits. After every duel the player must send in the Screenshots which must be shot by our provided program „ Game Monitor “. If a protest originates because of the entry of wrong results, the administration, with the help of sent Screenshots, will ascertain the winner. The cause of the protest duel must count on negative evaluations and penal dots, which can lead to the blockage or termination of the account.
If a duel did not take place, or it was exited in the mutual consent, the result can be set to the result entry „ duel cancelled “. In this case the duel is automatically cancelled. If both parties miss the entering of duel results after 24 hours, the duel will be cancelled also automatically.
If both parties have entered the results correspondently, the duel is closed and the profits are credited to the winners. A successful duel can be complained after 72 hours no more.
Who sends none, invalid or manipulated Screenshots/Media data with the result entry, must count on punishments or exclusion from the eDuel.net portal.

The causes of the protests must count on punishments and exclusion from the game portal. Please note that a protest claim can be submitted immediately after the match, at the latest however, within 24 hours after the match beginning. Later incoming protests can not be taken into consideration anymore.
The Game administrators have the competence to decide a game duel at their own discretion considering the valid rules. This concerns the protest cases with debatable results of all kinds, which can be solved after reviewing the Screenshots, demos, Replays or logs. In serious Cheat incidents a committee from several Game administrators can decide in collaboration with BETPLAYER ltd. on an exclusion of the affected user. Besides, demos as well as log and Screenshots are taken into consideration as proofs.
The dripped decisions by the administrators must be accepted and cannot be complained. Read moreover also our General Terms of Business, digit 9.1
